What To Do When You REALLY Just Can't Wear Pants

... or bra, or makeup, or anything really.

As a college student, I understand the struggles of Mondays (or any day) where you just can't deal with looking cute. You wear the oversized t-shirt you slept in, throw on whatever shorts are laying on the floor, and trudge off to class. But for those days where you actually have to look presentable, here are so quick and still comfy tips.
Take off that tshirt and put on an over sized sweater (if weather appropriate.) You can still wear a sports bra under it (or no bra if you can) and it's just as comfy as a t-shirt, but way more presentable. Stock up on cute fashionable over sized tees that can be worn over leggings for a more presentable look in warm weather. Note: oversized tees are cuter with bralets which means no bra.
Put the frat cleats or tennis shoes down. You can look as cute as you want up top, but if your shoes are the "was-white" Converse that have seen too many frat basements, then you might as well have worn a t-shirt. If its fall, wear cute booties or even fashionable (i.e. clean) sneakers like Vans or Adidas to complete the look. Note: shoes also depend on occasion. If you are just wanting to look cute for Chad from Sigma Apple Pie in your calculus class, sneakers are appropriate. If you are needing to meet with the dean of your college or have an informal interview, class it up a bit with booties. If its warmer weather, mules or slides are also a better option.
Reach for better leggings. In college, I actually recommend purchasing better quality leggings. Yes, we may not be wearing them to the gym or working out or any real movement, but on average I wear leggings at least four times a week, and when the math is done, I wear a lot of leggings. I used to just buy the $10 Target leggings because, well, I'm poor, but it only took a few wears for those to suddenly become see through and everyone on campus is appreciating my new VS thong. So invest in quality leggings. They will last longer and on the occasion where you actually can make it to the gym, you're prepared. I prefer Nike and Under Armour leggings for a more sporty look. You could purchase leggings from Lululemon, but if you would prefer not to sell your organs to afford them on a college budget, here are some better options:

If its too hot to bear wearing leggings and you may just melt by looking at them, the other alternative is to find really comfortable short alternatives to norts. My favorite alternative is loose, pajama like shorts. These shorts are basically fabric shorts that are like pj bottoms, are just as comfy as pj bottoms, and yet are far cuter than most norts I have. You can also get them in a variety of fabrics, so I suggest getting a few neutral colors in the comfiest fabric you can find.
Recently, its been hot n' cold in NC, so I've been l wearing a cute basic tee over my leggings and adding a "grandpa" cardigan and cute long jacket over it. It looks very sophisticated, but really you're just trying to survive Monday while staying warm.
Okay that's all today! Comment if you have any other tips on how to dress ~semi~ cute when you just can't function.
