Youth Tonic: F/W 2016/17 Design Board

Using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, I was able to "draw" design boards for my Youth Tonic collection. My main focus was to create very fashion forward and urban designs for our target market. The colors I wanted to primarily focus on color that are not typically seen in fall fashions.

My designs I wanted to create the focus piece as well as comfortable basics. I looked particularly at my younger sister, Anna, for style inspiration for her generation. She typically wears very unique pieces, or sweaters, with whatever happens to be on the floor (i.e. leggings) to pair with it. For shoes, she alternates between her Adidas sneakers and her yellow high-top Converse.

Since we are looking at targeting the higher class, I decided to escalate the unique pieces to give some reference to one of my generation's favorite TV shows, Gossip Girl. That's right, I decided to channel Blair Waldorf.
