During my second year at North Carolina State University, I took a course introducing the use of computer aided design. The course covers basic and advanced Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Kaledo Design, Knit, and Weave.
My collection was first inspired by Sympathy for the Devil by the Rolling Stones and with my love of history, I decided to capture a more uplifting part of Siberia, its wonderful wildlife and landscapes. The collection was made for Spring/ Summer 2017, although created in the Spring Semester of 2016, to mimic an actual time line that designers go through to create collections. I choose the Spring/ Summer seasons because Siberia is a tundra and thought it would provide a greater challenge to design for.
